Welcome to the Blog for Room 217 at Dovercourt Public School. In 2010, back in Room 52, at Alexander Muir/Gladstone Avenue PS, the idea for developing a blog took place. It is a place to begin lessons, open up discussions, and display the learning taking place.
So, why I may never find myself in Room 52 again, it serves as a reminder of a school community that was central to my development as an educator. Thanks for visiting.

Pushing boundaries, punctuating dialogue, great efforts, and have a great weekend!
I applaud 7-year-old Chris Niehaus for participating in an event that has traditionally been done by girls.
