HOMEWORK

- Study sheet for pp. 136-140 for Math (do a few sample questions from each page to practice the questions) to prepare for a test on Wednesday
- Write 2 simple, 2 complex, and 2 compound sentences on the same topic (a sample will be posted below)
- Spelling work and final dictation on Tuesday
- Grade 8 Placement letters (for students who received a letter)
- pp. 3/4 of the report card, signed, commented, and returned

Here is an example of the homework from earlier in the week.  I wanted the students to take a dependent clause and then create a complex sentence by adding an independent clause.
