Arriving Soon: Card information; Link to APA Style for doing references, and the Hamburger paragraph

The first wave of welcome cards will be collected from the Geography students this Friday.  I have placed a link for you to see what the requirements are or if you would like to send another card at a later date!

Where is Irbid, Jordan?  Let's take a look:

There are a few students who are talking with people they know, as part of this research project.  Unlike going to a web page or YouTube video and referencing that, there is a particular way for referencing an interview or conversation with someone.

This particular reference style is what you will probably use from now until you finish either college or university.  The TDSB links that I posted before, should be enough information for you at the Grade 7 or 8 level.

For a number of you, the typical website will be the most common place that you retrieve information from.  If you are using sources from another source and not sure how to reference them correctly, please see me or explore the links I have posted for some more ideas.

If you would like to use the reference generator, you may.  The link is on the right.  I will model it with a couple of examples.

The paragraph hamburger model that I have been talking about can be found on the Internet or the one that we have in class:

I am not sure if the resolution will come out very well, but this demonstrates how jot notes may be made into a paragraph, using the hamburger/sandwich/soyburger analogy:
