This blog began in Room 52 at Alexander Muir PS in 2011. The year is now 2023 and I have retired from the TDSB as a classroom Teacher but remained connected to the world of Teaching and Learning in my current role with The University of Toronto Scarborough.
So, while I may never find myself in Room 52, the name serves as homage to one of the school communities, central to my development as an Educator.

A friend of mine of Facebook shared this video about 2 young boys who may challenge your ideas about who you may think they are based on how they look. Very cool.
Here are a few shots of yesterday's rehearsal for the Grade 8 grad. In my 4 years of doing grad rehearsals at AMG, this has been the best one! Meaning, the students listened very well and did an above average job of getting ready.
One of my favourite views outside at AMG.
Have a good weekend. There was no homework, but there was a Geography test this past week and a Math test last week. Please ask your son or daughter about how they think they did.
